The Fear & Greed index is a daily sentiment score from 0 to 100. Low values are labeled fear; high values are greed. Crypto Screener shows today’s score, yesterday, and last week.

Rough bands

0–24 — extreme fear
25–44 — fear
45–55 — neutral
56–75 — greed
76–100 — extreme greed

What it is not

It is not a buy or sell signal by itself. It summarizes market mood using inputs chosen by the index publisher. Prices can keep rising in greed or falling in fear.

How to use it with the screener

Compare the gauge with live prices, 24h change, and Bitcoin dominance on the same page. Sentiment and price often move together, but not always.
